This company is offering incentives for 5-star ratings, which is really shady! I bought a Sevylor kayak from them last year, and it didn’t meet my expectations—it was all lopsided. I can’t complain about the returns process, but they didn’t have the pricier model I was after in stock. It’s super disappointing that they’re undermining the trust of folks checking these reviews by giving away 10 free kayaks for favorable feedback.

In the summer of 2020, we picked up a 3-seater Sevylor kayak to keep us entertained through the different phases of lockdown. It's held up remarkably well, and we've enjoyed two seasons of joyful paddling in it. The service from Aquascene was top-notch and efficient. There was a paddle missing from the initial delivery, but they sorted it out quickly.

Last year, I picked up a kayak from them. Even though it was a hectic period and the shop was swamped, I got top-notch customer service, and they made sure everything arrived just in time for my husband's birthday. Given that it's a small family-run business, I was really impressed with how they handled things. They’ve got a way better selection of kayaks than any other place I've seen. Appreciate it!

Refunds were issued quickly, but here I am, nearly a year and a half later, still waiting on a paddle board rucksack. Had to go out and buy one myself. Also, I’m not convinced it’s right to offer prizes for those who leave a 5-star review.

Hey there! I've got the Sevylor Minnesota and I'm really into it. First off, the customer service from the company is top-notch. Inflating and deflating it is a breeze. The bag for carrying it is fantastic. This kayak is super stable on the water but also quick and sturdy. There's plenty of space for my lady, our two dogs, and me in the back. The bottom is tough enough to be dragged over rocky shores without any issues. I definitely suggest going with the Sevylor brand. You truly get what you pay for! Quality and safety all the way!

I purchased a Sevylor Minnesota kayak, also called Ottawa, from Aquascene and took it to Greece. Unfortunately, I discovered that the floor bladder was warped due to a manufacturing issue—definitely not Aquascene's fault. After I got back to the UK, I shot an email to Aquascene, leaving the kayak in Greece (where we plan to use it). Within just 48 hours of my return, I received a flawless replacement bladder. I'm heading back to Greece with it now and will send over the kayak's serial number so Aquascene can get reimbursed by the manufacturer. Honestly, their service is top-notch!
